Some of these services are included free as part of our program, some of these services we will charge commission for because of the excess labor and expenses incurred.
Free Services:
Bank Account:
If you want easy access to ATM’s across China without a high commission fee, a simple way to receive wired money, money transferred from your account, or your salary (for long term positions) to be deposited in your bank account rather than in cash you may wish to store your money in a local Chinese bank account. We can set you up an account at the Bank of China, which is the nations largest and most common bank and all monetary transactions will be safe and efficient. You will get your own ATM card and pin number and you can access your money anywhere. At the end of the summer you can transfer your money back to your home account. The amount will be automatically converted from dollars to RMB.
Photo and Memoir Exchange:
When the program is over if you send us your digital photographs we can put them on a photo sharing website for everyone to look at and share with their family and friends from any location.
Recommendation Letters:
When you have successfully completed the program at your request we will write a recommendation letter for you to fit your needs.
College Credit:
If you want to earn credit for your participation we can help you. You will need to inquire at your home university and ask what requirements you need from us before and after your participation and we will provide it for you if you successfully complete the program. This must be requested before the program begins, so let us know early if you are interested.

Commissioned Services:
Single Room (Only Summer Program)

If you are in the summer program and we need to accommodate you with double occupancy we can arrange for you to stay in a single room if you are willing to pay the excess fee. We will calculate the fee per hotel but the fee will be some where between $200 USD and $400 for the 4 week program and between $300 and $600 for the 6 week program. Price will depend mostly on location. At some locations hotels are less expensive than others.
Cell Phone Rental (Only Summer Program):
If you want the easiest way to make and receive international calls anytime of the night or day and want to make quick friends around China, you might want to consider renting a phone from us. In China the cell phones are extremely convenient since land line phones are not too and public phones require complicated phone cards with instructions in Chinese. Cell phones are a bit more expensive in China then in America. The cheapest phone you could buy being around 800 RMB ($100 USD) plus another 100 RMB for activation. The phones in China operate differently from those in the US so that’s another reason why it is not too practical to buy. If you rent from us we will charge you 200 RMB for the summer and 400 RMB per semester. We will ask for a 800 RMB deposit that we will return to you minus the fee after the program finishes. To make international calls you will need to setup the account. We can assist you with this. Also you will need to buy phone cards to recharge your phone credit. We can sell these to you at a discounted rate or if you wish we can also assist you in monthly plans.
Postal Assistance (Summer Program Only):
When in China we can help you mail packages back home and receive packages. You just tell us the address you want to send your package and for the standard mailing fee we will bring it to the post office for you.
Scholarly Resources (Long term or Post Summer):
If you have any research projects in mind we can help you with the right university affiliations. We can introduce you to many reputable schools and universities in China and setup other forms of scholarly research exchange opportunities between your departments and staff or students.

Extracurricular Learning:
Besides learning Mandarin Chinese, many ESL teachers from the U.S. who have taught in China want specifically to learn Chinese cultural traditions such as Tai-Chi, Xingyi, and Bagua. If ESL teachers are interested in learning such arts, or any other Chinese art form, schools may help introduce them to qualified and reputable masters in China.
Extra Touring (Long Term or Post Summer):
We can arrange your tours after your teaching position has finished or during your breaks if you have an extensive break period. Let us know what you want to do and where you want to go and your budget and we can try to arrange it all for you.
Business card:
In China the business card is almost as essential to the Cell Phone to making social connections. If you would like a personalized name card with  your contact information we can print one for you for cheaper then you can find in the states.
