How's life post China this summer? Or, are you still there? I think if you talk to Sam, Brooke or myself, we'll all have the same answer that we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and the unexpected twists and turns made it that much more of an adventure. I left with everything I'd hoped for and additional perks, like travelling a little and being forced to practice the Chinese without having ACT guides. Even though we were only in Xiantao for a short while, I'm trying to keep in contact with the students and TAs. All in all, a wonderful experience that never could have been predicted or imagined when I signed up.

Spending time with kids, making so many dear friendships, opening up to a whole new culture and leaning Chinese have made the past months some of most fruitful in my life.I really have to hand it to Chinese hospitality and their sense of humility.
